Questions

Does AzangooPlus work without internet?+

Yes. After installation, prayer times, the Qibla, the calendars, and Adhan playback run on the phone. A network is not required to open the app.

Which prayer-time methods are included?+

Jafari, Umm al-Qura (Makkah), ISNA, the Muslim World League, the University of Karachi, Egypt, and the University of Tehran. Asr can be Shafi or Hanafi, and a high-latitude rule is available.

Do you upload my location?+

No. Location is used only on the device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla. The app does not need the internet for that, and it does not build an account around you.

Which languages does it speak?+

Persian, English, Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Indonesian, Malay, Bengali, Hindi, Russian, Spanish, and French. Persian, Arabic, and Urdu are right to left.

How does the rakah counter work?+

Put the phone on the prayer rug. The proximity sensor counts each sujud. The text on the screen is rotated so you can read it while you are down.

Is there an Android version?+

AzangooPlus is an iPhone app. This website is the public page for that app, including the privacy policy and the support page.
